A source close to Brown believes the wideout is exhausted of playing the scapegoat for the Steelers' problems and wants to show he can thrive in another offense.

Antonio Brown, arguably the most dominant wide receiver in the National Football League over the past decade, has stated his desire to leave the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Antonio Brown has not been traded nor has he been released.

Brown allegedly pushed the mother of his daughter to the ground last month in Hollywood, Florida, according to a police incident report. At the end of the season, Brown had a dispute with quarterback Ben Roethlisberger which led to the star wide receiver missing the final game of the season.

She conceded that China and New Zealand have a "complex relationship" which has "its challenges". Daily Mail Australia has contacted Air New Zealand for comment.

Brown, a sixth-round pick in 2010, has become arguably the NFL's best wide receiver in Pittsburgh.

Of course, Brown remains under contract to the Steelers, so the 49ers are not allowed to publicly discuss the potential of Brown playing in Santa Clara next season. There is little doubt there will be interest from plenty of teams wanting Brown's services.

He finished the season with 104 receptions for 1,294 yards and 15 touchdowns.

Brown was additionally found guilty of reckless driving after failing to make his court appearance in Pittsburgh earlier Tuesday. The woman did not press charges and police have taken no further action. The conviction stems from a November 8 incident when Brown was allegedly driving a black Porsche more than 100 miles per hour in Pennsylvania.
