Linsanity is coming to Canada.

Point guard Jeremy Lin is finalizing a buyout with the Atlanta Hawks, and he intends to join the Raptors, his agents Jim Tanner and Roger Montgomery told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Lin, 30, will need to clear waivers first, something that should be a foregone conclusion given he's set to make $12.5 million this season.

The injury happened Saturday in Toronto's win over the New York Knicks.

Lin, 30, is averaging 10.7 points and 5.3 assists in just 19.7 minutes per game for the Hawks in his return to action after a season-ending injury past year.

Musk told a Twitter user that the company is "doing everything we can" to drop the Model 3 base price to $35,000, without credits. Musk maintains that Model 3 demand is "insanely high", but his company has not released any figures to demonstrate that.

Lin was originally acquired from the Brooklyn Nets, along with a 2025 second-round pick and the right to swap second-round picks in 2023, in exchange for the draft rights to Isaia Cordinier and a protected 2020 second-round pick on July 13, 2018.

The Toronto Raptors shored up their roster ahead of a playoff run by acquiring three-time All-Star center Marc Gasol earlier in the week, but they're not done improving yet.

Expect Lin to fill in for the departed Delon Wright, playing behind point guards Kyle Lowry and Fred VanVleet.

He played in 37 games during his rookie campaign, registering just 2.9 points across 7.9 minutes a night.
