The Kansas City Star reported that it had obtained a police report from the Overland Park (Kan.) Police Department listing a juvenile as the victim and Hill's fiancee as a person involved.

Hill's fiancee, Crystal Espinal, is the same woman the wide receiver reportedly choked and punched in 2014. A source told Vockrodt and Pryor the battery involves the couple's 3-year-old son, and the child suffered a broken arm. No charges have been filed against Hill, and Johnson County prosecutor's spokeswoman Kristi Bergeron didn't immediately return a phone message seeking comment.

"The club is aware of the investigation involving Tyreek Hill", the Chiefs' PR team has written in the interim. Hill, 25, fell to the fifth round of the 2016 National Football League draft after he pleaded guilty to domestic battery in Stillwater, Oklahoma, in December 2014. Upon completion of his probation requirements, the felony conviction was dismissed in August 2018 and the charge was wiped from his records.

Even without released star running back Kareem Hunt, Kansas City remains stacked with playmakers, like wide receivers Tyreek Hill and Sammy Watkins, tight end Travis Kelce, and running back Damien Williams.

"Tyreek has done a nice job staying on top of himself with that", Chiefs coach Andy Reid said late last month. "We would never put anybody in this community in harm's way". We have things set up for him if there are issues, but he's been phenomenal. "I know that my behavior hurt a lot of people, and I again apologize to them", Hunt said in a statement through the Cleveland Browns' front office.
